Establishing the world's first rock religion takes audacity, gumption, and $60! Who had what it took to come up with the idea, pay the money and start our Facebook group? Let's take a deeper look into our unlikely heroes!

The High Gala, aka Jesse, has always been a rock music fanatic. His musical love journey, what we refer to when we want to know who your favorite bands have been, is David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, U2, Metallica, Tool, The White Stripes and presently the Psychedelic Porn Crumpets (note that Neil Young has always held a constant special place in his heart). HG is the engine behind DZ, hosting the weekly radio show, recruiting the bands and the oracle to the cosmic deity themself!

The Archbishop of Grunge, or AoG as she is referred to 'in the cult', maintains a behind the scenes presence in DZ, often times co-hosting the show, providing her perspective on our culture and counsel to HG. Her musical love journey is...
